Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
At River Tees More, corporate social responsibility is not an add-on, it’s the foundation of everything we do.
As the charitable arm of an academy trust, we work with young people who have experienced exclusion from mainstream education. Many of our learners have faced significant trauma, mistrust of traditional systems, and systemic barriers that leave them vulnerable and voiceless.
We exist to change that — but we can’t do it alone. We need your help!

What does River Tees More actually need?
As the charitable arm of an academy trust, we work with a cross section of young people who have experienced barriers to education engagement and success. These barriers include, but are not limited to, permanent exclusion from school, significant trauma, mistrust in educations and the adults within this system, and systemic barriers that leave them vulnerable and voiceless.
We need partnerships rooted in empathy, trust, and long-term impact. Support can come in many forms, funding, mentoring, access to resources, work experience and employment opportunities for young people, or simply time and care from people who want to make a difference.
We are looking for businesses and individuals who believe in second chances, in potential beyond labels, and in the power of community to heal and transform.

Our Communities
We are deeply embedded in the communities we serve , not just geographically, but relationally. Every learner’s story is different, but the themes are often the same: disconnection, marginalisation, and being told they don’t belong - possible change to an internal feeling of not belonging as a consequence of perceived messages.River Tees More is about restoring belonging. Through partnerships with local businesses, schools, social services, and national networks, we help rebuild what’s been lost.
