Recently, learners from River Tees Secondary Academy, organised a Christmas Fair. It was planned by our learners and set up by our learners and they made it happen!
But what touched us most was what they decided to do next. Instead of keeping the money raised for themselves, they chose to donate it to the charity we set up to support them with trips, personal development, and new opportunities. We were genuinely blown away by their generosity and spirit.
As was said to them on the day:
“I just want to say a huge thank you to all of you. Organising the Christmas fair was an amazing effort, and the fact that you’ve chosen to donate the money to the charity is just incredible. This charity is here for you, to give you more opportunities, experiences, and support, and it means so much that you believe in it. You should all be really proud of what you’ve done. We’re so grateful, and honestly, you’re amazing!”
Their kindness reminds us exactly why this charity exists, to stand alongside young people who have so much to give, if only they are given the chance. Together, we are building something stronger: a future filled with hope, opportunity, and belief.
